A Comprehensive Evaluation Method for the Service Status of Groins in Waterways Based on an AHP-Improved CRITIC Combination Weighting Optimization Model

A comprehensive evaluation model that combines an analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method and the improved version of Criteria Importance Through Inter-criteria Correlation (CRITIC) is proposed to solve integrated assessment problems related service status groins in waterways. In view influencing factors functional characteristics damaged for waterway regulation, a groin (WGSS) index system with hierarchical structure was constructed using target-criteria elements. Additionally, based on multi-attribute indicators, standards rating assigning values elemental indicators were developed. Considering traditional empowerment methods are rather one-sided limited, AHP-improved CRITIC combination optimization established least squares principle, optimal weights solved by Lagrange multiplier method. The reliability applicability tested successfully applying spur dikes upper reaches Yangtze River. results showed combined calculated AHP able reflect both subjective objective information, which makes up shortcomings single assignment method, assigned indexes reasonable. determine this paper more accurate than provided scientific basis decision making maintain sustainability function.
